Updating opensuse with zypper

This can be a problem if the system contains conflicting repositories, like repositories for two different distribution releases.

Syntax : The components mentioned in brackets are not required.

The simplest way to execute zypper is to type its name followed by the command.

-u, --clean-deps Automatically remove unneeded dependencies. -U, --no-clean-deps No automatic removal of unneeded dependencies. Repository 'open SUSE-13.1-Update-Non-Oss' is up to date.

-D, --dry-run Test the removal, do not actually remove.linux-xa3t:~ # zypper ref Repository 'open SUSE-13.1-Non-Oss' is up to date.

I became a SUSE employee recently, so naturally I've been spending more time with open SUSE.
