Those experiencing domestic violence often turn to others – friends, family, co-workers and their pastor – before, or instead of, reaching out to law enforcement or agencies such as Circle of Hope.
Those closest to them often know of the victim’s plans or attempts to separate from the abusive situation.
There are others among us who are experiencing such terrorism at this very moment.
