The Sex Offender Registry was created in response to the Missouri Legislature's resolution to facilitate public access to available information about persons registered as sexual offenders.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol, Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division, has not considered or assessed the specific risk of re-offense with regard to any individual prior to his or her inclusion on this web site and has made no determination that any individual included on the web site is currently dangerous.
The National Sex Offender Public Website—coordinated by the Department of Justice—enables every citizen to search the latest information from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, and numerous Indian tribes for the identity and location of known sex offenders.
To run a search: Enter the site, select the “I agree” button under Conditions of Use, fill out the Search form, and select “Search.”You can also search registry websites maintained by individual jurisdictions by following the links below.
Upon release, each sex offender is notified of their lawful duty to register with the FBI and appropriate local authorities.
